How does a virtual event work?
Thousands of people will be (1) running/walking in locations of their choice nationwide and (2) joining a supportive digital community to share in a collective experience. From there, you'll get a swag package in the mail, and share your finishing time and photos to be eligible for fun awards and prizes.

When will I get my swag?
Depending on when you register, before the event, during the event, or shortly after the event concludes. (See: Estimated ship dates)

How do the shirts fit?
Our shirts fit on the small side for women's size -as such, we recommend ordering a size or two larger than normal if you would like a comfy fit. Men’s sizes run true to size with an athletic fit. (See: Shirt size chart)
Must I be on a team? What's the advantage?
Nope, flying solo is totally cool! That said, team's are great ways to build camaraderie. You'll be featured on our Team Leaderboard, be eligible for the coveted Largest Team Award, and team captains (specifically) will have a chance to win extra goodies from our Captain Prize Pool!
How much money goes to the charity?
10% of all entries + 100% of additional donations will go to our charitable beneficiary!

How do I track my time?
Time tracking can be done using GPS watch or other wearable device, or on a treadmill.
How do I submit my results?
Results will be submitted via a GPS link (or a photo) posted to our participant website. In the week prior to the event, you will receive an onboarding email with instructions on where and how to do this.

What are the fees associated with this event?
Like many events similar to this event, there is a processing fee tied to the event’s registration provider.
I don't have my bib number yet. Can I still log my time?
Absolutely! No bib number is required to submit your results -just a link or photo of your results. (See: How do I submit my results?)
Is it possible for me to purchase just a medal?
At this time, individual items are not available for purchase but can be bought as part of packages.
Is my registration fee tax-deductible?
While our events do benefit charitable organizations, registration fees are not tax-deductible.

What is the benefit of being a team captain?
There are many benefits, include:
  • Being highlighted as a captain on our Team Leaderboard
  • Leading the charge for the coveted Largest Team Award (and getting a prize if you win!)
  • Getting a custom team page which allows you to invite others to join your team and/or email team members to coordinate plans
  • Having a chance to win numerous extra goodies from our Captain Prize Pool!
I’ve never been a team captain before. What are some great way to create team camaraderie?
  • Organizing a local meetup is a great way to enjoy the event with team members nearby.
  • Encouraging team members to share individual photos, then creating a collage or album of those photos makes for a great team keepsake for all to remember the fun.
  • Providing team updates, encouragement, and congratulatory messages to team members can go a long ways with build team spirit. This can be done (1) in the event participant Facebook group and (2) via the email feature on your team page.
